Lost And Found!

A week ago, I lost the metal plate logo of my handbag. I wasn't sure where I lost it but I was thinking at the parking lot of the Chinese restaurant that we went to. I was really disappointed because I love this Prada handbag although it is not an authentic one. I actually do not like using fake or replica handbags. I am one of those people who believes that if I can't afford to buy the original why would I pretend by buying replicas? So the question now is, how come I have this replica Prada?

Well, what had happened was, I was looking for a white handbag on Ebay and saw this brand new Worthington brand handbag on auction, there were actually two handbags on the auction, the Worthington brand and this Prada one. At the time I did not know that it was a Prada brand, the seller did not disclose the name of the second handbag. I put a bid on it because I thought it was a good deal to be getting two handbags for the fraction of the price of the Worthington handbag which was originally priced at almost $60. I won the bid and only paid a little over $13 for the two handbags, not including the shipping of course! I was a happy camper getting that kind of a deal!

When the handbag came in the mail, I was very surprised to see the second handbag that it was a Prada. I immediately knew that it was just a replica. I mean who is in their right mind would sell an authentic Prada for what I had paid for it anyway? LOL! I was still surprised because even the replicas can be expensive as well depending on the quality of course. But the minute I laid eyes on it, I knew I wasn't going to get rid off it. I really love everything about this handbag, it's style, it's color, the lining which is a cheetah-print and the many compartments inside which is perfect for organizing my stuff!

Anyway, back to the topic. My mother-in-law called yesterday and I couldn't believe when she told me over the phone that she found the metal plating for my handbag at the trunk of her car. I was getting ready to donate the handbag to Goodwill, it was already packed with the other stuff that I was donating. It was truly unbelievable! I'd lost hope in finding it and that's why I was just gonna donate it! But thanks to my wonderful MIL, I get to have one of my favorite handbags back!!!
